This exciting leadership position oversees the Engineering, Maintenance, and facility infrastructure teams to ensure the exceptional execution of our capital program and manufacturing operations. You will strategically develop and execute the overall facility capital and maintenance budgets while driving continuous improvement in plant efficiency and equipment reliability. By leading asset management and energy optimization initiatives, this role safeguards manufacturing quality and workplace safety while eliminating operational risks. You will collaborate dynamically with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, R&D, and Global Engineering to satisfy critical business and technical objectives.
Responsibilities:
Function as a key member of the Strategic Leadership Team to define capital plans, establish continuous improvement expectations, and provide effective career development for the engineering and technical staff
Accountable for the strategic preparation, capitalization, and lifecycle management of the facility's capital and maintenance expense budgets
Lead the plant engineering team to optimize plant process capacity, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure equipment is safe to operate at all times to meet plant key performance indicators
Ensure all plant engineering projects, technical modifications, and physical assets comply with local, corporate, legal, and EHS regulations
Partner with internal stakeholders, procurement, corporate engineering groups, and external vendors to lead site energy management, optimization, and margin improvement initiatives
Implement and maintain rigorous corporate technical document management systems, contractor safety guidelines, and validation protocols for newly implemented methods
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field
8+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project management
5+ years of experience combining project engineering execution with direct production or technical team management
Proficiency with engineering systems, business data applications, and standard productivity tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a technical field or a Master of Business Administration
Possession of an active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Prior experience within Consumer Packaged Goods or food processing plant environments
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
