Als Manager Planning & Shipping bij Milliken in Gent ben jij degene die ervoor zorgt dat onze productie soepel loopt, van de eerste planningstap tot de levering bij de klant.
Milliken & Company is een internationaal technologiebedrijf dat gespecialiseerde materialen en chemicaliën ontwikkelt voor sectoren zoals automotive, textiel en gezondheidszorg. Onze site in Gent is een sleutellocatie binnen ons Europese netwerk.
Hoe je dag eruit ziet
Je geeft leiding aan een team van 5 — planning, shipping en warehousing — en bent de verbindende schakel tussen productie, sales, labo, logistiek, development.
Supply Chain & Productieplanning
Je optimaliseert de planning voor onze sites in België en India zodat klantenorders tijdig en efficiënt worden geleverd. Je bewaakt capaciteit en voorraden, beheert supply chain risico's en adviseert over de inplanning van nieuwe producten in het ontwikkelingsproces. Je initieert en coordineert verbeterprojecten voor supply chain.
S&OP & Langetermijnplanning
Je coördineert het S&OP-proces en werkt nauw samen met sales aan langetermijnforecasting. Je stuurt je team aan in het tijdig en optimaal bestellen van grondstoffen, garens en chemicaliën.
Teamleiderschap & Coaching
Je begeleidt je team dagelijks, signaleert ontwikkelingsbehoeften en ondersteunt hun groei. Je optimaliseert ook de communicatie tussen de verschillende afdelingen, want een goed draaiende planning staat of valt met goede samenwerking.
Rapportage & Opvolging
Je volgt KPI's op via productie- en managementoverleggen, beheert de opvolging van subcontractors en ondersteunt de milieu-, veiligheids- en kwaliteitsmanagementsystemen van de site.
