Job Description

The Manager, ECM Operations, Planningis an integral part of the team within the North American eCommerce & Customer Marketing (ECM) function. This rolebringsstructure, analytical rigor, and data integrity to how ECMannualplanning and investment decisions are managed.The roleowns the day-to-day management of complex Excel-based budget and planningfiles,ensures the accuracy and reliability of planning data across multiple scenarios and simulations, and translates detailed inputs into clear, stakeholder-ready analyses and visualizations.This role will provide strategic input into the development of future technology-enabled planning solutions and support the rollout and adoption of the system across the team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Planning & Budget File Management: Build, manage, and continuously improve the complex, matrixed Excel-based budget and planning files used to manage ECMannualinvestment decisions, ensuringaccuracy, consistency, and strong data integrity across inputs.

  • Data Integrity & Quality Control: Own the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of manually managed Excel-based planning data

  • Scenario & Simulation Management:Manage interdependencies across planning inputs and run scenarios and simulations as priorities shift to help ensure investment decisions remain aligned to broader business strategy.

  • Stakeholder Reporting & Visualization:Create tailored views for different stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, compelling stories and visuals that help leadership understand planning strategy, tradeoffs, and outcomes.

  • Template & Tool Development: Build and maintain scalable templates and tracking tools that create structure across planning routines, helping bridge current manual processes with the team's future technology-enabled planning solutions.Rolloutacross 30+ teammembers, providing comprehensive training and support to ensure seamless adoption.

  • Planning Routine Support & Recommendations: Support planning rituals and routines by providing the data, analysis, and recommendations needed to inform investment decisions and business planning conversations.

  • Technology & Process Improvement: Help stabilize and improve current-state planning processes, reporting platforms, tools, and data processes while contributing to future reporting andplatform-developmentefforts.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Advanced Excel Mastery:Demonstratedexperience building and managing complex, matrixedtemplatesand detailed working files, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and budget or planning tools.

  • Data Integrity Management: Proven experiencemaintainingdata integrity across complex planning, reporting, budgeting, or forecasting processes with many moving pieces and stakeholder inputs.

  • Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large, detailed, andfrequentlychanging data sets.

  • Scenario &InterdependencyManagement: Experience managing interdependencies and running multiple simulations or scenarios to support planning and investment decisions.

  • Data Storytelling & Visualization: Ability to translate complex data into clear reporting, recommendations, and compelling stakeholder narratives, with strong visualization skills for leadership audiences.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and strong standards for accuracy across planning and reporting outputs.

  • Reporting, Tools &Process ImprovementExperiencehelping build or improvereporting platforms, tools,ordata processes, including identifying pain points, recommendingpracticalimprovements, and supportingchange management to driveadoption

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complexity for different audiences andturndetailed inputs into clear, actionable messages

  • Matrix Organization Navigation: Able to navigate a large matrix organization effectively.

  • Organization and Project Management:Possessesexcellent organization and project management skills.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • This position is considered ahybrid role with 3 days in the Chicago office,Normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspacesAdditionally, this role requiresabilityto worka salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
