Job Description

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department. In addition, the Pharmacy Operations Manager provides pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist as needed. This position will assist the Director of Pharmacy to assure all legal, regulatory, and accrediting requirements are maintained at the best demonstrated practice. Maintain a professional presence throughout the hospital. Assure pharmacy services and activities are carried out to meet goals and standards of hospital. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Operations Manager is required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.

Minimum Experience:
Previous Cardinal Health or Hospital pharmacist experience
Training and proficiency in age specific therapies for hospital patients such as Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and/or Geriatric.

Minimum Skills:
Builds and maintains strong interpersonal relationships
Effectively prioritizes tasks and responsibilities
Provides clear leadership and guidance to team members
Demonstrates in-depth pharmaceutical expertise
Delivers engaging and informative presentations
Negotiations with confidence and professionalism
Financial operations and budgeting
Time management

Required Certifications:
Registered Pharmacist (CA DCA) Registration with California State Board of Pharmacy Board Certification

Pay Transparency

The annual salary range for this position is $ 158,080.00 - $260,830.00 .
