  • Functional (job responsibilities):-

A) Functional Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the HLB and HLISB Incentive module within the system, ensuring timely and accurate payout across Secured Lending, Unsecured Lending, Mortgage, Deposit and Credit Insurance.
  • Administer incentive programs, respond to sales staff inquiries, and investigate appeals submitted via Symphony e-forms Execute incentive claw-backs in accordance with Bank Disciplinary Committee Reports (DC Reports) provided by IR.
  • Prepare monthly incentive dashboards for all Business Units (BU), highlighting abnormal trends. Analyze HLB and HLISB sales channel productivity, evaluate business schemes and performance, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Enhance sales team productivity by proposing innovative solutions and leveraging advanced SQL programming expertise to deliver relevant MIS reports for management decision-making.
  • Oversee smooth maintenance of the Sales Force Management (SFM) system. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system enhancements or modifications are glitch-free. Collaborate effectively with system support and vendors through strong knowledge of business processes and database logic.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to streamline incentive processes, making them more adaptive, efficient, and results-oriented.

B) System Automation and Process Improvement Responsibilities

  • Identify and explore new system solutions through creative research and co-design sessions to define projects for system automation.
  • Develop recommendations based on data analysis from multiple sources (stakeholders, business units, sales channels) to align organizational sales and productivity strategies with system automation for incentives.
  • Ensure Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and system health checks are conducted in line with project lifecycle requirements. Participate in system testing and cut-over activities, including weekend sessions when necessary.
  • Support post-launch activities on production platforms, ensuring smooth operation of new systems, enhancements, or modifications.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with business units, product managers, channel heads, segment teams, IT, HR, and vendors. Communicate proactively with stakeholders and management regarding progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Lead enhancements to existing systems (SFM) and explore onboarding of new platforms to deliver improved automation and system solutions.
  • Strategically plan automation of manual incentive schemes to minimize manual intervention in calculations and reporting.
  • Contribute to project deployment and team collaboration in delivering new system solutions for incentive calculation.

C) Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure incentives are processed accurately and on time, with all supporting documents and management approvals properly documented for audit trail purposes.
  • Support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercise on a semi-annual basis.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to reduce reliance on manual operations by automating repetitive processes, ensuring compliance with spreadsheet control standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively to safeguard operational integrity.
