Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists Section Head- in developing tactical and strategic application, services and/or programs to support the respective business unit's goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).

2. Works closely with various business partners (departments) to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes.

3. Consults with departments and offshore teams to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications.

4. Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

5. Coordinates the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications for specified applications. Reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.

6. Work in close collaboration with users to ensure adequate test scripts have been built and then assist them in UAT.

7. Analyzes the business unit's activities and trends and compares analyses against the service standards and best practices. Presents findings and work with the Section Head and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals

8. Develops effective reporting tools for the business unit. Prepares project status reports and other routine reports (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, etc) to be presented in various platformsAssesses and prepares to address the operational impacts, workflow, training, etc. issues of a project.

Skills

• The candidate should have a high level of Windows OS and SQL work experience.

• The candidate is expected to have a high level of experience with different hardware/software platforms including virtualised environments, solutions, and products.

• Ability to collaborate with extended teams within the branch and across the region and HO IT and establish strong relationships.

• Ability to work with minimal amount of instruction and develop a wider understanding of IT objectives.

Qualification

• BE. Technology/Computer Sciences or equivalent
• ITIL training/certification preferred.
• Any MS Windows certification (MCSE Server) preferred.
• Any other Certifications

Working Experience

• 10+ years of IT and IT experience
• Proven experience in the areas of Payment System operations, Application management, patch management.
• Prior experience in managing the entire lifecycle of budgets and contracts.
• Ability to deliver cost savings by various innovative interventions.
• Prior experience interfacing and working with senior management.
• Proven track record in process and procedure development and execution.
• Ability to work in an individual contributor capacity and influencing without authority across departmental boundaries.
