About the role:
Join Takeda as a Manager, Patient and HCP Marketer Hematology portfolio out of our Cambridge, MA office. You will foster an innovative mindset to effectively manage strategic marketing initiatives across the Hematology portfolio and contribute to key business priorities across the franchise. This includes managing patient-focused conference activities and national sponsorships as well as supporting cross-portfolio initiatives and ensuring alignment of promotional and non-promotional activities with overall franchise strategy. You will manage and contribute to the execution of commercial priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and field partners, supporting engagement within the bleeding disorders community and advancing portfolio objectives.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage strategic execution of patient-focused conferences, including creative development, booth build, and on-site execution in partnership with the Community Education Specialist (CES) Team to ensure a consistent and impactful presence at national and regional meetings.

  • Lead patient national sponsorship advertising initiatives including placement of branded content such as digital banners, podcasts, and related outreach formats on key conference websites, aligned with patient marketing strategy and engagement objectives.

  • Contribute in the implementation of patient promotional materials, messaging, and programming, partnering with multiple external agencies and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage cross-portfolio Hematology initiatives by aligning stakeholder outreach programs, label updates, promotional and non-promotional activities and inventory management with franchise priorities and field insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and field teams to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives, optimize content based on patient and HCP insights, and support consistent engagement across the bleeding disorders community.

  • Work closely with the cross functional stakeholders including HCP Marketing, Patient Marketing, CES, Digital /Omnichannel function, Patient Services, Medical, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance, Business Insights and Competitive Intelligence and Communications to ensure patient and HCP marketing resources support patient and HCP educational needs

  • Ensure compliance with review and approval processes and represent promotional initiatives at the Promotional Review Team (PRT) meetings.

  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring guidance and timelines set by Finance and Leadership are followed.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience, 2-5 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience (direct or agency)

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA experience preferred

  • Client services experience at a creative agency welcomed

  • Self-motivated/self-starter to drive ideation and execution of key tactics

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with a positive can-do attitude and problem solving-skills

  • Track record of strong project management and results orientation, including budget management

  • Ability to successfully manage and navigate through the promotional review process

  • Must understand the role of other functional areas and partner with them to develop the best solutions

  • Strong communication skills, including presenting concepts and ideas in a clear, concise, and organized manner

  • Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, and insights to identify key business drivers

  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$116,000.00 - $182,270.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
