• The Patient Intake Regional Manager reports to the Director Revenue Cycle- Patient Access and is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of SIH Patient Intake Departments at multiple hospitals. The Regional Manager is accountable for the operational, financial, regulatory, and financial clearance activities. This position will provide key leadership to several functional departments across multiple hospitals including training, quality, productivity, and technical support for functional registration departments as it relates to patient access activities.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
• Master’s Degree preferred
Licenses and Certification
• Epic Certified– Grand Central and continuance of Next Version Training (NVT) within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Certification in HFMA, ACHE, or AAHAM preferred
Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 6 years of Patient Financial experience / Patient Access Leadership
• Supervisory Experience: 5 years
• Intermediate Computer skills required as proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, pivot tables, and various computer applications.
• Effective Communication, Presentation, and Meeting skills with strong ability to work independently, as well as leading diverse work groups
• Ability to set and maintain priorities when dealing with multiple demands
• Demonstrates the ability to handle complex issues.
Role Specific Responsibilities
• In support of the Revenue Cycle Director of Patient Access; implements, measures, and monitors Key Performance Indicators and develops future direction of the Patient Intake Departments. Independently initiates corrective action plan(s) to ensure key objectives are hard-wired.
• Develops facility Supervisors with respect to daily oversight for Patient Intake including employee scheduling, performance management, and process improvement.
• Analyzes the design of jobs, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement for the Patient Intake Departments.
• Formalizes operational recommendations for performance improvements and automation and serves as the leader to ensure continuity.
• Consolidates and analyzes weekly, monthly, and annual reports to evaluate departmental productivity.
• Manages emerging leaders to motivate cross-departmental teams to achieve quality Patient Access activities.
• Provides timely communication regarding comprehensive knowledge of registration processes.
• Coordinates implementation of new programs and initiatives of the Revenue Cycle to increase efficiencies and decrease barriers.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
$64,854.40 - $100,526.40
