AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and manages the daily operations of parking services across assigned University Health campuses, garages, lots, and affiliated locations. Responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused parking operations for patients, visitors, staff, physicians, and vendors. Provides direct supervision of parking staff and oversees parking enforcement, revenue controls, parking access systems, traffic flow, valet or shuttle coordination (if applicable), permit administration, and parking-related customer service functions. Ensures parking operations support organizational access goals while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Promotes a culture of service excellence and operational efficiency through staff development, process improvement, compliance with departmental policies, and coordination with internal departments including Protective Services, Facilities, Transportation, Human Resources, and clinical operations. Responsible for monitoring parking utilization, staffing schedules, departmental performance, safety compliance, and financial accountability related to parking revenue systems, access control systems, and parking contracts or vendors. Ensures parking operations are conducted in accordance with all applicable University Health policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality management, transportation, operations management, or a related field is preferred. Five (5) years of experience in parking operations, transportation, hospitality, customer service, facilities operations, healthcare support services, or a related environment is required. Prior supervisory or management experience is required. Experience managing parking revenue systems, parking access control systems, parking technology platforms, staffing operations, customer service programs, and vendor relationships is preferred. Experience in a hospital, healthcare, campus, airport, hospitality, municipal, or large-scale parking environment is preferred.
