The Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Supply Chain Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Outfitting Procurement reporting to the Director, Procurement

This position is onsite and temporarily based in Miramar, Florida.

The Procurement Manager, Outfitting is responsible for leading procurement strategy and execution for complex outfitting categories supporting Newbuild, Refurbishment, Fleet Modernization, and other capital projects. The role serves as the commercial lead for project-based outfitting procurement, partnering closely with Design, Project Management, Marine Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and suppliers to deliver cost, quality, schedule, innovation, and risk-management objectives.

Operating as a senior individual contributor, this position requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. The Procurement Manager will proactively identify opportunities to improve procurement outcomes, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support successful project execution across the outfitting portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement Leadership

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned outfitting categories aligned with project schedules and business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary procurement partner for outfitting-related spend across Newbuild, Refurbishment, and Fleet Modernization initiatives.
  • Engage early with stakeholders to influence specifications, sourcing approaches, contracting strategies, and project planning activities.
  • Balance commercial value, quality, schedule requirements, guest experience expectations, and supply continuity considerations.

Strategic Sourcing and Commercial Management

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFIs, RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, supplier recommendations, and contract execution.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, warranties, lead times, payment terms, and project-specific requirements.
  • Drive value creation through competitive sourcing, specification optimization, supplier innovation, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and contracting standards.

Supplier and Project Management

  • Manage strategic supplier relationships within the outfitting portfolio.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, schedule adherence, responsiveness, and execution.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier, schedule, and commercial risks.
  • Support capital project execution by aligning procurement activities with project milestones and delivery requirements.
  • Escalate and resolve commercial issues impacting project success.

Scope of Categories

The Outfitting portfolio may include, but is not limited to:

  • Architectural millwork and custom fabricated elements
  • Flooring systems and specialty flooring applications
  • Wall coverings and specialty wall systems
  • Ceiling systems and architectural features
  • Stone, quartz, solid surfaces, and tile applications
  • Decorative metals and specialty finishes
  • Glass and mirror applications
  • Specialty architectural materials
  • Guest-area outfitting packages
  • Interior construction and outfitting installation services
  • Other project-based outfitting categories as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, Hospitality Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, or project procurement experience.
  • Experience within cruise, hospitality, construction, shipbuilding, refurbishment, interior fit-out, or other capital project environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex negotiations, strategic suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, influencing skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed organization.
