Overview

The Manager, Organizational Effectiveness Operations will play a vital role in the Organizational Effectiveness department by managing the operational processes, systems, and participant experiences that support the successful delivery and scaling of Organizational Effectiveness programs and initiatives.

This role serves as a primary operational partner to an assigned Organizational Effectiveness portfolio, supporting enrollment, participant communications, logistics, project coordination, and operational readiness. The Manager will also identify and implement opportunities to improve, simplify, automate, and scale OE processes and infrastructure.

In addition to supporting assigned portfolios, this role will contribute to the continued evolution of Organizational Effectiveness by helping build systems, processes, and infrastructure that support learning, talent, organizational capability, and other enterprise OE initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Program and Portfolio Operations:
  • Serve as the primary operations partner for an assigned Organizational Effectiveness portfolio.
  • Collaborate with OE leaders to plan, coordinate, and execute development programs and other OE initiatives.
  • Manage participant enrollment, registration, communications, and key logistical processes.
  • Ensure programs and initiatives are operationally ready and effectively coordinated.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues that may impact program delivery or participant experience.
  • Maintain clear and reliable processes for recurring OE activities.

Participant Experience:

  • Support the design and delivery of a consistent, effective, and participant-centered experience across assigned programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate participant communications and key experience touchpoints before, during, and after programs.
  • Identify barriers and friction points that make OE opportunities difficult to access or navigate.
  • Gather participant feedback and use insights to improve future experiences.
  • Partner with OE leaders to ensure participant needs are considered throughout program and initiative design.

Systems, Technology, and Process Improvement:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve systems and processes that support Organizational Effectiveness programs and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, or eliminate unnecessary work.
  • Utilize technology, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Support the development and maintenance of databases, tracking systems, and other OE infrastructure.
  • Document key processes and establish consistent workflows where appropriate.
  • Partner with internal technology, HRIS, and other stakeholders to improve systems and processes.

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Provide project management and coordination support for assigned OE initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and support communication across workstreams.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers to successful implementation.
  • Track progress and ensure key milestones are completed.
  • Support the implementation of new programs, processes, and OE initiatives.

Data, Documentation, and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records related to program participation, operational activities, and assigned OE initiatives.
  • Support the collection and organization of data needed to understand program operations and participant experience.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Help establish reliable data and documentation practices across Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the accessibility and usefulness of OE data.

Automation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate OE processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess manual and repetitive work for opportunities to leverage automation and artificial intelligence.
  • Partner with OE leaders to understand operational challenges and identify practical solutions.
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of process improvements.
  • Help reduce unnecessary administrative work and improve the scalability of OE programs and services.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within Organizational Effectiveness.

Organizational Effectiveness Infrastructure:

  • Contribute to the development of systems and infrastructure that enable Organizational Effectiveness to scale beyond traditional learning and development.
  • Support the operationalization of new OE capabilities and initiatives as organizational needs evolve.
  • Assist with initiatives related to organizational capability, talent assessment, talent reviews, succession planning, learning technology, or other OE priorities.
  • Collaborate with OE leaders to identify operational requirements for new programs and services.
  • Help build repeatable processes that enable the organization to effectively deploy OE initiatives at scale.

Collaboration:

  • Foster strong partnerships with OE leaders, facilitators, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to assigned portfolio leaders.
  • Collaborate with other OE Operations team members to ensure consistency and integration across portfolios.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continued development of the Organizational Effectiveness function.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and improvement opportunities across the OE team.

Portfolio Assignment:

Each Manager, Organizational Effectiveness Operations will serve as the primary operational partner to an assigned portfolio while contributing to shared OE infrastructure and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, education, project management, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes, programs, or initiatives.
  • Experience identifying and improving operational workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology, databases, workflow tools, and other business systems.
  • Interest or experience in automation and artificial intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to creating reliable, efficient, and participant-centered processes.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in organizational effectiveness, learning and development, talent management, operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
  • Experience with learning management systems, talent systems, HRIS, or other enterprise technology.
  • Experience with participant, employee, or customer experience.
  • Experience supporting talent assessment, talent review, or succession planning processes.
  • Experience using data to identify trends and support decision-making.
