Job Description

HRSI is leading executive search on behalf of a global consumer electronics and devices organization to identify a senior commercial leader for its operator business in Pakistan. The role owns the development and execution of operator strategy with mobile network operators, converting joint propositions into profitable sell-out and postpaid growth.

ROLE PURPOSE: Own and grow business with mobile network operators in Pakistan. Build the operator strategy, design joint commercial propositions that make devices easier and more attractive to buy through operators, and convert them into executable launches that deliver sell-out, postpaid conversion and profitable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy & growth: Build operator business strategy for Pakistan identify highest-potential growth opportunities across Telecom and other operator channels set joint business plans and targets per operator.
• Consumer offers: Design and launch postpaid handset bundles, device instalment / EIP / BNPL programs, trade-in and upgrade programs, data-voice-content-device bundles, and operator-led promotions, pre-orders and loyalty offers.
• Commercial planning: Lead business case development, pricing support, subsidy mechanics, demand forecasting, sell-out targets and profitability tracking.
• Operator partnership: Work closely with operator commercial, device/terminal, consumer marketing, digital, retail, finance, credit-risk and technology teams hold senior-level business reviews and negotiations.
• Internal alignment: Partner with sales, product, marketing, retail, finance, supply chain and legal teams to turn propositions into launches.
• Go-to-market: Define channel plans for operator stores, digital channels, telesales, franchise networks and selected retail partners.
• Performance tracking: Track sell-out, activations, attachment rates, repayment performance (where relevant), postpaid conversion and campaign ROI; recommend corrective actions based on results.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience: 10–12+ years in telecom, handset OEM or consumer electronics, with at least 5 years in operator key account management, device / terminal sales or operator commercial roles.
• Track record: Proven launch of device bundles, postpaid / instalment programs and operator promotions with P&L and subsidy accountability.
• Market knowledge: Strong understanding of Pakistan's telecom landscape and operator ecosystems; experience negotiating with senior operator stakeholders.
• Preferred: Exposure to device financing / BNPL and credit-risk partnerships, trade-in programs, team leadership, and regional (GCC / South Asia) operator business.
