This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of Specialised Business Services (SBS), whereyou’llbring structure, insight, and control to how weoperate

As Manager, Operations & Strategy,you’lltake ownership of our reporting, systems, and control environment, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strong risk discipline across SBS. Working independently from frontline teams,you’llprovide trusted oversight and insights that help shape better decisions and strengthen how we manage risk.

You’llplay a key role in improving processes, enhancing data quality, and ensuring we meet regulatory and compliance expectations, while enabling the business to perform at its best.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead SBS data integrity, reporting, and system performance

  • Deliveraccurate,timelyinsights to support decision-making

  • Strengthen controls and oversee compliance across SBS activities

  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems, and processes

  • Partner with Risk, Analytics, Audit, and business stakeholders

  • Support audit readiness and regulatory requirements

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into insights

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI

  • Understanding of credit risk and lending processes (preferred)

  • Proven experience managing data, controls, and reporting frameworks

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Confident stakeholder engagement and relationship management

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for improvement
