Core Functional (job responsibilities)
· Managing the duties of a Bank Teller at bank counter, include processing/checking customer transactions, handling cash/cheques, providing customer account services and adhering to security procedures etc.
· Attending to customers’ enquiries and feedback in a professional manner in order to ensure a good banking experience for our customers.
· Processing / Checking Fixed Deposit (New Placement, Withdrawal, Renewal & Premature withdrawal etc.)
· Executing / Checking FX transactions
· Execute/ Authorizing daily CTS-USD/SGD, Fast & GIRO payment with the reconciliation (including Bulk Fast, Bulk GIRO, RIB, HLCF, SGPG etc.)
· Processing / Checking Outport cheques (Crediting Vostro account)
· Processing / Checking foreign cheques for collection (Courier chq to drawer bank, monitor payment and settlement)
· Processing / Authorizing internal funds transfer (HLCF, V8, Olympics)
· Supporting HLBB SGD Cash in Transit (CurrencyNet, STR, credit proceeds to Vostro account)
· Participating in IDT, UAT, Project implementation and system enhancement/healthcheck.
· Providing inputs into operation processes and workflows to deliver efficiently and mitigate risk.
· Providing effective relief for the team members in Branch processing
· Maintaining document management processes, including filling, scanning and organizing warehouse documents related to assigned tasks. This ensures seamless operations and facilitates convenient access to vital information as needed.
· Ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports and data to the Management.
· Escalating potential operation issues, provide recommendations and suggestions to the Management.
· Updating procedures to reflect changes to policies/regulations and in current practice
· Updating SOPs to incorporate new work processes, policies and/or regulations
· Responsible for checking and authorization of other team members’ work (where required) to ensure accuracy in processing/settlement in the transactions.
· Performing RCSA as per schedule
· Working as a team and contribute towards the Business Objectives.
· Ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP), regulatory requirements and compliance standards for all processes.
· Providing proper guidance and on-going mentoring/training of new joiners. Grooming and developing the team
