As an Operations Manager, you’ll lead production planning, scheduling, and daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, on-time delivery aligned with business goals. You’ll drive performance across people, processes, and equipment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Direct production planning and scheduling based on sales demand, inventory levels, and material availability
  • Oversee daily operations, including manpower planning, overtime authorization, and cost control
  • Monitor production yields and adjust processes to meet delivery and performance targets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, supply chain, engineering, sales, and customer service teams
  • Perform capacity planning for equipment, workforce, and facility requirements
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to achieve operational and strategic goals
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts within the team
  • Track and report performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Manage capital expenditures and ensure alignment with budget targets
  • Lead, develop, and manage team members, including hiring, performance management, and employee relations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing production teams of 25+ employees across multiple shifts (including 3-shift operations)
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management in a manufacturing setting
  • 2+ years of experience managing departmental budgets, controlling costs, and overseeing capital expenditures
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using production management systems (e.g., ERP/MRP) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada

  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply company processes, policies, and export compliance regulations
  • Experience with aerospace engines such as Rolls-Royce T56, AE2100, or GE F110/J85 series
  • Effective leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
