Standing up a production machining shop means building everything — equipment commissioning, org structure, hiring, and process — simultaneously, from day one. Floor space coming online, machines arriving, and a large team of machinists, operators, and programmers to hire and develop. Few inherited processes, no predecessor to hand things off. You are building the foundation.
This is not a role for someone who manages a running shop. It's a role for someone who knows how to create one — and has done it before at scale.
