
Manager Oncology Navigation Counseling
Inova Peterson Life with Cancer Center is looking for a dedicated Manager of Oncology Navigation and Counseling - Pediatrics to join the Life with Cancer team. This role is responsible for direct leadership and management of the pediatric psychosocial behavioral health team, including therapists and a nurse navigator across multiple oncology care settings including pediatric inpatient unit, pediatric outpatient clinic, and a dedicated counseling center. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background in therapy, supporting pediatric patients and their families, with a preference for clinical oncology or complex illness expertise and a proven track record of working collaboratively within and managing multidisciplinary care teams. The Manager of Oncology Navigation and Counseling develops and manages pediatric standards, guidelines and protocols for the determination of care needs for children and adolescents impacted by cancer and their families. Develops and manages Life with Cancer's Oncology Navigation/Counseling programs and team members for patient populations including oncology and Pediatric services. Incorporates data and information to continuously Oversees the care delivery of programs for patients and families within the Life with Cancer Service Line, in alignment with system-wide improve services/practices to enhance outcomes, while actively engaging in patient care and research to maintain current and evidenced based clinical skills. Manages staff through daily supervision, team member relations and staff development. This role will be full-time day shift from Mon-Fri. 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
