What You'll Do
- Provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership for nursing programs and services
- Partner in a dyad with the Clinical Director on quality, workflow, and staffing decisions
- Oversee staffing, workflow optimization, performance management, employee development, and resource utilization
- Lead QA/QI initiatives and maintain regulatory and Joint Commission readiness
- Assign triage categories accurately and oversee medication administration and refill protocols
- Serve as liaison among providers, pharmacies, patients, and families
- Carry a direct and indirect patient care load alongside the nursing team
- Mentor and develop nursing staff as a role model and advocate for nursing excellence
Required Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license and BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership, charge nurse, supervisory, or management role
- Ability to use data and reporting tools to monitor quality, productivity, patient outcomes, and operational performance
- Knowledge of nursing practice standards, quality improvement methodology, risk management, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to successfully complete the credentialing process
Preferred
- Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), value-based care models, or population health programs
- Previous nursing experience in Primary Care, Emergency Room, or Urgent Care
- Experience with staff supervision, performance management, quality improvement, and clinical operations
- Fluency in additional languages
