Job Description

The Manager of Key Accounts China will be responsible for leading the sales team for a certain group of customers with high business impact to drive sustainable long-term growth aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Furthermore, the position holder will obtain and maintain & develop long-term key customers by comprehending their requirements.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

Business management

Develop and implement strategic account plans using global resources, with differentiated approaches to the business needs in PD & manufacturing stages

Sales management

Utilize scientific account management methodology in the team to build up close connection with targeted accounts ( local mature commercialized clients and MNCs).

Customer management

Build up strong c-suite level customer relationship to create a feasible business context.

Resource Management

Leverage global/local resources and process to support customers' business development, then enhance the business coherence with customers.

Team management

Build, manage and develop an efficient team via inspiring and leading the team in achieving business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or life sciences related major, MBA is preferred.

  • Min.8 years working experience in biopharma, including min.5 years sales experience, and min. 3 leadership experience.

  • Systematic sales management knowledge, including key account management, funnel management, etc.

  • Solid key account management, funnel management, strategic partnership, sale coaching related skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative leading, coach and people development, operational decision making

  • Proactive in building relationships with key stakeholders of all organizational levels

  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
