Your new role:

As a Senior IT Manager, you will lead the IT System Management and Operations team supporting our production facilities. You'll be the driving force behind operational excellence on the shop floor while supporting our ambitious expansion projects.
The role requires on premise and on site shop-floor presence and a high degree of independence, innovation and initiative, while managing multiple stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing your own team within people and business processes
  • Ensuring operational performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost, environment, health & safety
  • Supporting and delivering IT-related project milestones and once we start operations,
  • Driving continuous improvement through the introduction of new technology, sharing best practices, and practicing change management
  • Implementing site-specific strategies and anchoring them within your team and the plants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Setting and sharing goals for your team and individuals, providing performance feedback and development plans, and ensuring clear and timely communication, coordination, and collaboration between employees and stakeholders
  • Managing the local IT systems and budget to ensure efficient operations of the production facilities
  • Ensuring manufacturing IT systems comply with requirements from internal, external, local and global authorities, while supporting audits and inspections.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders across business, project and IT organisation
  • Communicate clearly and effectively at all organizational levels

Your new Department

In Global Manufacturing Supply we support cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life‑saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

PPV IT is organised within Global Manufacturing Supply IT and API IT, where you'll report to the Director of M2 & PPV IT Operation.

Your team will be a central point of IT within the newest Purification Plant V, balancing the urgency of production support with the agility needed for expansion projects while ensuring IT operations integrate seamlessly with production.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a leader who thrives in dynamic, high‑stakes environments and has the right mentality and drive to create change and build something new.

  • Proven managerial skills and demonstrated leadership abilities in leading global teams
  • A structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented approach to complex challenges and change willingness
  • Strong ability to establish cross‑organizational collaboration and manage complex stakeholders

  • IT acumen and technical knowledge within IT and automation systems
  • Experience with IT operations in regulated manufacturing environments (GMP experience is a clear advantage)
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing IT systems (MES, DCS, PLC) and infrastructure is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with Danish as an advantage
