Schedule: Full Time | 80 hours | Monday-Friday | 8am to 4:30pm

Pay Range: $31-$39/hour (exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location

As a Manager of Environmental Services, you will oversee building maintenance, safety, and cleanliness across Vivie communities. Leading housekeeping and maintenance teams, you’ll ensure optimal living standards for residents while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety protocols.

As a Manager of Environmental Services, you will:

Oversee Facility Maintenance

• Manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely response to work orders.

Lead Safety and Emergency Preparedness

• Oversee life safety policies, conduct drills, maintain safety records, and respond to building emergencies.

Manage Team Performance

• Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping and maintenance teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.

Optimize Vendor and Budget Management

• Secure bids, manage vendor contracts, and maintain budget compliance for building services and supplies.

Enhance Resident and Staff Experience

• Ensure clean, organized, and well-maintained common areas, living spaces, and grounds, creating a safe and welcoming environment.

This job also requires:

• Minnesota State Boiler Operator’s license and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent with post-secondary technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of physical plant maintenance experience and 2+ years of supervising maintenance/housekeeping staff.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with residents, staff and vendors.
• Ability to work independently while handing changing priorities and emergency situations.
• Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with staff, residents, and visitors.
