Job Description

We currently offer remote work for
those residing in the following states:
Arkansas,
Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota,
Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.


*To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to
work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future,
sponsorship for employment visa status.

GENERAL SUMMARY (What is done and why)

The Manager of Enterprise Applications is a leadership role overseeing the Enterprise Applications team. This includes the strategic and operational development and administration of the Credit Union’s enterprise applications such as Core, CRM, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Debit and Credit Card Systems’ Integrations, Content Management Systems (OnBase, SharePoint, DocuSign) as well as Microsoft Business related applications. The Manager works closely with key business stakeholders in identifying and implementing effective technology solutions for the credit union. This position provides leadership, and day-to-day management and has responsibility in identifying, and designing current and future technical solutions that will drive the resiliency of business-critical technologies. The Manager will help develop, recommend, and implement strategies to ensure stable operating environments, including but not limited to overseeing the decentralized access governance framework to ensure security and functionality requirements are implemented across the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, IN PRIORITY ORDER (Majority of duties, but not meant to be all inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary)

1.Develops and maintains a highly effective team to support enterprise applications and systems, including but not limited to the core system, card management systems, CRM, content management systems, Microsoft business related applications, RPA, user interfaces and business unit specific dependencies or integrations. T ime: 25%

2.Support and provide input into the Enterprise Application strategic road map, ensuring that information technology capabilities continually support the overall business’s goals and objectives. Time: 20%

3.Provides the resources and opportunity for personal growth to maintain a motivated and skilled technology team and ensures continuity and cross-training exist for all key skills and duties. T ime: 10%

4.Oversee the decentralized access governance framework to ensure security and functionality requirements are implemented across the enterprise. T ime: 10%

5.Provides guidance to IT teams to ensure that technical, procedural, and administrative controls are designed and operated to efficiently satisfy the Credit Union’s operating requirements while balancing risk and security requirements. T ime: 10%

6.Ensures enterprise applications, integrations and systems in the department meet established service-level agreements. T ime: 10%

7.Develop strategies, policies, plans, and capital/operating budget in support of the business needs and requirements for Enterprise Applications T ime: 5%

8.Working collaboratively with other IT departments, oversees business continuity and disaster recovery within the Enterprise Applications department as it relates to the IT- Disaster Recovery Plan. Time: 5%

9.Benchmarks, analyzes, reports, and makes recommendations for the improvement of applications and systems, including but not limited to the core system, card management systems, CRM, content management systems, Microsoft business related applications, RPA, user interfaces and business unit specific dependencies or integrations. T ime: 5%

EDUCATION (Minimum education required to perform the duties of this position)

·Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Finance or related discipline or four years of related work experience

·At least one industry leading technical certification such as Microsoft Azure (Data, Dynamics, Security, etc.)

·At least one industry leading certification such as ITIL, PMP, Project+, etc.

EXPERIENCE (Minimum experience required to perform the duties of this position)

In addition to the education requirement:

·4 or more years effective leadership within Information Technology or a related field

·4 or more years’ experience in enterprise technology planning or technology project execution

·Experience in writing business case-based requests for resources and tracking/reporting business performance results

·Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the implementation of technology solutions, business continuity, and disaster recovery principles, practices, and technologies

·Proven experience in managing a team responsible for bringing innovative technology, processes, and/or products to market.

·Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Physical effort generally associated with this position)

Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most work is done from a seated position. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed printouts and computer screens. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at a high skilled level. Deadlines, workloads, and pressure may cause increased stress levels. Work hours are unpredictable at times.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Typical working conditions associated with this type of work and environmental hazards, if any, that may be encountered in performing the duties of this position)

Internal -- work is normally performed in climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties. Length of day is unpredictable; long hours may be required to accommodate deadlines, attend special meetings, or manage incidents.

External -- Some business travel may be required; however, information on environmental conditions is not available.
