The Manager, Development (Acquisitions) plays a lead role in the development and execution of acquisition strategy and in the deal negotiation/structuring, financial analysis, deal execution and market research and analysis. The Manager reports to the Senior Vice President, Development.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other business-related advanced degree desirable
One to four years’ experience in acquisition-related business/activities
Experience developing financial models, pro formas and projections
Knowledge of Company’s core businesses
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills with high attention to detail and organization
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
Extensive knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and practices
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel internal and external to the company
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to develop rapport and relationships with owners/managers of target companies
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to conduct research and market analysis
Highly self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
