Why JDC?
About JDC
We are an international NGO with a century-long legacy of strengthening Jewish communities across the Former Soviet Union and beyond. Our work is grounded in the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam - repairing the world - and expressed through direct partnerships with local community organizations across Russia and the broader FSU region. We believe that transformation happens in the field between people, not in documents or org charts, and we build our teams accordingly.
This role sits within a dedicated team working alongside FSU partner organizations to build new models of partnership, accountability, and community-led governance. The initiative is experimental, relational, and serious. We are learning in real time alongside our partners.

JDC is the leading, global Jewish humanitarian organization, working in 70 countries to lift lives and strengthen communities. We rescue Jews in danger, provide aid to vulnerable Jews, develop innovative solutions to Israel’s most complex social challenges, cultivate a Jewish future, and lead the Jewish community’s response to crises. For over 100 years, our work has put the timeless Jewish value of mutual responsibility into action, making JDC essential to the survival of millions of people and the advancement of Jewish life across the globe.
