
SCOPE OF WORK: The Manager of Athletics & Campus Life supports and implements the operational and administrative functions of NHTI’s athletic programs under the direction of the Director of Athletics & Campus Life. This position focuses on day-to-day program coordination, compliance support, and student-athlete services, ensuring effective program delivery and a positive student experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in recreation, sports management, coaching, health, education, physical education, or a related field.
Experience: Two (2) years' experience as a physical education teacher, athletics program coordinator, coach, recreation coordinator, recreation therapist, or related work experience in education, health, athletics, recreation, or sports management field. Certifications or completed training in CPR, first aid, AED, etc.
License/Certification: Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS For appointment consideration, College Manager, Student Life applicants must successfully participate in a structured interview measuring possession of knowledge, skills and abilities identified as necessary for satisfactory job performance by this class specification.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in education coordinating athletic or recreational programs for students.

Knowledge of individual and group behavior. Ability to plan, supervise, coordinate and direct the work of others. Ability to evaluate situations. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, governmental agencies and the public. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority.
