At the YMCA of Niagara, you’ll be part of a purpose-led organization with a clear focus on community well-being. Our work is powered by relationships and grounded in inclusion. We support people of all ages and circumstances with opportunities that build health, belonging, and connection so individuals and families can grow, lead, and give back.
For more than 165 years, we have been part of the fabric of this region, evolving alongside Niagara and showing up where the need is greatest. With a presence in over 125 program sites, we continue to expand what well-being can look like, creating welcoming spaces where more people can participate and feel they belong.
Guided by our shared values of caring, health, honesty, inclusiveness, respect, advocacy, and responsibility, the YMCA offers meaningful roles where your work is felt every day. If you’re ready to bring energy and care to a team that keeps moving forward, you’ll find purpose here.
You are motivated by values-driven work and understand the role safe, well-managed facilities play in strengthening healthy, connected communities. You bring strong technical expertise in building systems, preventative maintenance, and asset lifecycle planning, and apply it effectively across a multi-site environment.
You think at a portfolio level, balancing risk, compliance, cost, and user experience while developing scalable standards and systems that drive consistency and performance. You manage vendors and contractors with accountability and influence outcomes within a centralized model through strong collaboration.
You communicate complex technical information clearly and support non-technical stakeholders in decision-making, with a commitment to safe, inclusive environments that reflect YMCA values and community impact.
This role balances strategic planning with disciplined execution across a multi-site portfolio. You will analyze asset condition, lifecycle data, and risk to inform maintenance priorities and capital investments, while advancing long-range capital plans aligned with organizational priorities and community impact.
You will establish standardized maintenance, inspection, and cleaning protocols, and lead vendor and contractor performance to ensure compliance, cost control, and consistent service delivery. In close partnership with operational leaders, you will ensure facilities support safe, inclusive, high-quality YMCA experiences.
You will also provide technical guidance for sites without dedicated facility staff, while overseeing compliance, audits, and risk management. Using performance data, you will drive continuous improvement and responsible stewardship of capital and operating resources.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Manager – Asset & Facilities provides enterprise-level oversight of YMCA of Niagara’s facility portfolio, ensuring all environments are safe, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s mission to strengthen community. Operating within a centralized asset management model, this role establishes the systems, standards, and long-term strategies required to sustain high-performing facilities across all locations.
