The Manager of Alumni Success leads the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs and initiatives designed to support Uplift graduates as they matriculate and persist toward their college and career goals. Reporting to the Director of Alumni Success, the Manager manages significant Alumni Success projects and initiatives from concept through implementation, evaluates program effectiveness and alumni engagement, and recommends improvements to strengthen postsecondary outcomes.
The Manager applies knowledge of college access, persistence, and career attainment to develop programming, resources, partnerships, and interventions that address the academic, social, and professional needs of Uplift alumni. The position collaborates across Uplift and with external postsecondary partners and exercises independent judgment within established organizational objectives when prioritizing activities, evaluating program needs, addressing implementation challenges, and recommending improvements to Alumni Success strategies.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and use the wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time.
Work Environment: Some district-wide travel required. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours required.
Starting Salary: $65,000
