The OEMs & Strategic Alliances Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Element’s supplier ecosystem across light, heavy, and electric vehicles and the products and services related to direct acquisitions. This role plays a critical part in driving business growth, cost efficiency, and service differentiation through strong partnerships with OEMs, dealers, and key suppliers.

Act as an strategic integrator of the key stakeholders of the automotive and mobility ecosystem, the role ensures the incorporation of innovative, scalable, and sustainable solutions particularly in electrification and emerging mobility trends. The position combines strategic thinking with execution excellence, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance performance, unlock value, and strengthen competitive positioning.

Additionally, the role leads and develops a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance, results-oriented culture aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Alliances & OEM Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with OEMs across light, heavy, and electric vehicle segments.
  • Identify and execute strategic partnership opportunities that enhance service offering and market competitiveness.
  • Act as a key interface between OEMs and internal stakeholders to align business objectives.

2. Supplier Network & Ecosystem Development

  • Define the strategy, expand, and optimize a high-performing supplier network across the country
  • Develop and maintain a robust and scalable supplier network across key categories, including remarketing, vehicle transfers, administrative services, and courtesy cars.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with dealers and key automotive suppliers
  • Ensure supplier capabilities align with business growth, service requirements, and future mobility trends
  • Ensure supplier coverage, capability, and performance to support operational continuity and client needs

3. Negotiation & Commercial Strategy

  • Ensure achievement of revenue generation targets, including supplier rebates, incentives, and commercial agreements optimization
  • Lead complex negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, contracts, and service level agreements
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality and strategic value
  • Ensure commercial agreements are competitive, scalable, and aligned with long-term business objectives

4. Implementation & Cross-functional Execution

  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, commercial, customer experience, and others) to implement supplier solutions effectively
  • Ensure seamless execution of partnerships and new services
  • Drive alignment between supplier capabilities and client expectations

5. Data, Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities in cost efficiency, operational performance, and sustainability
  • Monitor supplier performance through business reviews, KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier ecosystem

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, supplier management, strategic alliances, or mobility solutions
  • Proven experience in leading negotiations and managing complex supplier ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of automotive market dynamics, including electrification trends
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking combined with strong execution and results orientation
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Travel availability
