Manages and coordinates a specialty program or outpatient office. Provides clinical expertise, coordination of care, and education for patients, physicians, and hospital-based case managers in order to enhance and facilitate patient care. Manages assigned clinic personnel, and assesses staffing needs, other responsibilities include evaluating staff member performance, coordinating equipment maintenance, utilizing appropriate health care resources when needed, assessing staff member continuing education needs, delivering direct patient care, and observing departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
