We’re looking for an experienced nursing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and is passionate about creating an exceptional Emergency Department for patients and caregivers alike.
As Nurse Manager of Emergency Department Clinical Operations, you’ll lead the 24/7 operations of your area, advancing clinical excellence, quality outcomes, caregiver engagement, and continuous improvement. You’ll build and develop strong teams, optimize resources, champion accountability, and foster an environment where caregivers are empowered to deliver outstanding, compassionate care.
The PPMC Emergency Department serves an average of 170–200 patients each day within a hospital with more than 400 inpatient beds. To support the department’s complex operational needs, the leadership team includes a Nurse Manager, three Assistant Nurse Managers, an Ancillary Staff Supervisor, and a shared ED Educator. Our Emergency Department Behavioral Health Program is led by a separate operational Nurse Manager that partners with our ED Leadership team, creating an integrated partnership that supports excellence in both emergency and behavioral health care. This dynamic environment offers an opportunity to use data, influence, and collaboration to drive meaningful improvements for patients and caregivers.
At Providence, leadership is more than managing operations. It’s about inspiring people, elevating the patient experience, and bringing the best out of a team when it matters most. Bring your leadership, your passion for emergency nursing, and your drive for excellence. Come lead a team where your experience, ideas, and voice can make a meaningful difference.

Every day, 119,000 compassionate caregivers serve patients and communities through Providence St. Joseph Health, a national, Catholic, not-for-profit health system, driven by a belief that health is a human right.
Rooted in the founding missions of the Sisters of Providence and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, courageous women ahead of their time who brought health care and other social services to the American West when it was still a rugged, untamed frontier, we share a singular commitment to improve the health of all.
From our earliest days, we’ve met new challenges by pioneering new solutions. Today, with 51 hospitals, 829 clinics and a comprehensive range of services, we strive to meet the needs of communities across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington through a diverse family of Catholic, other faith-based and mission-driven secular organizations.
Now, as we face a new frontier—a changing health care landscape—we draw upon their pioneering and compassionate spirit to plan for the next century of health for a better world, especially for the poor and vulnerable.
