The Department of Family and Community Medicine is looking to hire a Manager, Nursing for its clinical private practice, located in the River Oaks Clinic, who will supervise clinical employees. Will also work with departmental and clinical leadership. This position will share responsibility for the daily coordination of patient care and clinical skills of medical assistants along with managerial and administrative duties as assigned. This includes contributing to process improvement and collaborating with the medical home team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills, written and verbal communication skills in English, and ability to work in a fast paced medical office environment. Will have problem solving skills, ability to participate in collaborative decision making, critical thinking skills, and ability to assist in conflict resolution. Additionally, must be a team player and demonstrate commitment to clinical care.
