Manager, New Product Introduction Engineering
The Role:
To lead and develop the KSP-N NPIE team, driving its effectiveness while serving as the central point of contact for all internal and external customers
In this role you will:
Manage the KSP-Nnew product introduction and product test engineers
Leadand facilitate the Entegrisperformancemanagement process for the KSP-N teammembers This includesgoal setting,1:1 meetings,mid-year discussions, and year-end reviews.
Mentoreach of theKSP-Nteammemberswith the primarygoal ofbuildingeach of theteammembers’skillsandeffectiveness.
Driveconsistency and standardization in the executionofNPD projectsbyboth monitoring projectsstatus andmentoringthe KSP-N team membersonall aspects of their work following relevant documented proceduresas applicable
Act as the local representative for the NPIE team in KSP-N
Interface withEntegrisinternal teams to understand their needs and develop plans to address those needs.
Participate in customer interactions acting as the local manager of the NPIE team.
Provide supportforNPD projects
This includes supportingNPD projects in the C/F/BC and Development phasesandowningNPDprojectsinthe Engineering and Pilot phases.
The successful management of the KSP-N NPIE team willbe evidencedby thepredictabilityof theteam’sNPD projectsexecutionto meet customer requirements
Success as thelocal representative for the NPIE teamatKSP-Nwillbeshown in the unifiedwaymessagingfor theNPIE teamis givenduring customer communications
For individual projects,success will be measured bythe completion of goals generated following the SMART goal methodology.

Whatarethe Position Specific Competencies?
Phase Gate Project Management
Experiencewithand knowledge ofphase gate project managementsystems.As the NPIE team lead you will need toassessyour reports projects to quickly understand anydeficienciesand provide mentoring to enable them to get their project back on track.
Slurry Evaluation forCommercial Production
The NPIE team-lead will need to use their knowledge ofslurry evaluationtechniques, such as DOE’s, stability studies(ex.time and temperature), andengineering studies (ex.filtrationlifetime)to review the work being completedfor the NPD projects and provide mentoring tothe engineersto ensurethoroughness and compliance withdocumentedprocedures
Process Controlfor Non-Commercial Products
Experiencesuccessfullyusing statisticalprocess control,performingroot cause investigations andimplementingcorrective actions using tools such as the 8D methodologies.You will need to leverage these experiences to provideguidance foryour reports on when and how toproperlyuse these tools toensure the new products are made to the highest qualitystandard
ProcessDesign
Beable to understandequipment design proposals,contribute to design discussions, and make informed decisions
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree – Chemical Engineering or related technical field required.
Minimum5years demonstrated experienceasanindividual contributorin the chemical process, semiconductor, food, or pharmaceutical industry withabackground in process development, commercialization, pilot plant, quality, scale up or manufacturing
Adept at navigating interpersonal dynamics to buildan effective teamand resolve disagreements.
At least3years ofphase gateproject management experienceas theprojectowner forprojectdefinition,timelines,and deliverables.
Exceptionalwritten andpresentationskills.
Six Sigma DFSS or DMAIC GB and knowledge/application of related tools preferred

All keydeliverablesforaninitiative should be included in the plan.
Ensure there are sufficient resources as well as the correct resources to complete the plan.
Clearly document the plan using tools such as Gantt charts, project charters, etc.
Your effectiveness in carrying out the planned work
Proactively schedule and complete deliverablesto ensure key milestones are met.
Effectively work with task owners to ensure they complete their obligations following the project plan.
Identify roadblocks and quickly develop a plan toovercomethe roadblock
Your ability to identify and implement continuous improvements for theKSP-NNPIE team
Translate high-level goals into a tactical plan for improvement.
Enhance the team'seffectivenessby aligning with industry standards while also pioneering novel solutions.
