The Services Team
The Services team is the professional services arm of Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that address key issues facing our customers. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, this team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology / security platforms, to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and execution capabilities. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, security products, business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
The Asia Pacific (AP), Network Services Team
The Network Services team focuses on advancing our payment ecosystem’s development priorities at the country/regional level, by identifying pain-points that cut across multiple clients in a geography, designing market-wide services solutions in close collaboration with the Product organization.
Role
The position will be expected support key strategic Services opportunities for AP region across the development spectrum: origination and analysis, proposal development, internal socialization, contract management, execution oversight and value quantification frameworks.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to specific programs, prepare relevant documentation for strategic internal client engagements across a range of topics, countries and types of products. Working with technology and data, you will support the generating of key hypotheses and structure workstreams covering market problems. Overseeing ongoing business opportunities that are in-flight, program opportunity pipeline and closures, you will also create creative and useful analyses to address client problems, synthesize analyses into clear, sound recommendations, and create effective, impactful storylines.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
• Design and develop effective programs and proposals that address market-wide client needs – working with Product teams to synthesize case studies, identify relevant products and build financial / revenue impact models for Mastercard and client-ROI.
• Conduct pricing analysis and modelling for new initiatives and proposed changes to existing programs
• Assist engagements with key internal stakeholders to integrate market feedback, iterate proposal structure and pricing.
• Assist with aligning AP programs and proposals with global internal approvers such as finance, legal, pricing and value quantification teams
• Collaborate closely with customer success teams to define and implement customer success approaches for Network Services initiatives
Qualifications
• MBA or relevant graduate degree
• Top tier management consulting firm experience, preferably in payments or retail banking
• Strong Analytics and financial modelling capabilities (Excel) and proficiency in structuring content into compelling narratives (PowerPoint)
• Self-directed and motivated: aptitude in managing complex processes effectively to drive results.
• Ability to accept ambiguity and work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across business units.
• Written and Verbal communication: ability to articulate value proposition, engender alignment and convey excitement to internal and external stakeholders.
