Job Description

Maintenance Planning & Reliability
  • Develop and monitor preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans for plant equipment.
  • Analyze equipment failures and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor key maintenance KPIs such as equipment availability, reliability, MTBF, and MTTR.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Operational Excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Implement best maintenance and operational practices across plant systems.
  • Monitor performance trends and recommend improvement measures for plant operations.
  • Facilitate implementation of operational excellence tools and methodologies.
Technical Support
  • Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting critical plant equipment issues.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and OEMs for technical resolutions.
  • Review technical specifications, maintenance procedures, and engineering documents.
  • Support modernization, renovation, and improvement projects.
Planning & Coordination
  • Prepare annual maintenance plans, shutdown schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor execution of planned maintenance activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with various departments to optimize plant availability and performance.
  • Track maintenance costs and identify opportunities for budget optimization.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the department.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare MIS reports, maintenance dashboards, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain maintenance records, technical reports, and equipment history data.
  • Present performance analysis and improvement recommendations to management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in power plant maintenance, reliability, technical services, or operational excellence.
  • Experience in thermal power plant operations and maintenance activities.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning systems, reliability engineering, and RCA methodologies.
  • Exposure to SAP PM and maintenance management systems.
  • Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
