Job Description

The Member & Supplier Engagement Manager is responsible for driving engagement, accelerating growth, and improving commercial performance across AD México by influencing Member and Supplier behaviors.

This role plays a critical part in expanding the AD México network, increasing participation in AD programs, and maximizing the value delivered through supplier partnerships. It combines strategic insight, data-driven decision-making, and strong execution to deliver measurable impact in sales, conversions, and overall ecosystem performance.

Success in this role will be measured by tangible improvements in Member participation, supplier conversions, network expansion, and overall commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Member & Network Engagement

  • Manage relationships with assigned AD Members, acting as the primary point of contact for engagement and performance
  • Drive Member Participation Rate through structured engagement and targeted initiatives
  • Conduct regular business reviews and ensure follow-up on agreed actions
  • Monitor Member satisfaction and ensure internal alignment to resolve issues
  • Promote adoption of AD programs, processes, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with Membership requirements and performance standards
  • Act as the internal advocate for Members across AD México
  • Identify new Member prospects aligned with strategic priorities
  • Lead onboarding and activation activities to ensure early adoption and integration

2. Supplier Engagement & Growth

  • Align Member needs with Supplier Partner value propositions to drive growth and conversions
  • Increase Supplier Partner engagement, participation, and performance
  • Identify and execute joint business opportunities between Members and Suppliers
  • Drive conversion initiatives to increase Member purchases with AD Supplier Partners
  • Partner on identifying opportunities for new suppliers and the onboarding process
  • Lead and support supplier meetings, reviews, and engagement initiatives
  • Act as liaison in resolving Member–Supplier conflicts
  • Partner in identifying program enhancement opportunities

3. Program Execution & Commercial Performance

  • Lead execution of core AD programs, including:
    • Market Planning
    • Conversion Campaigns
    • Incentive Programs
    • Purchase Power Survey
  • Drive strong participation and consistent execution across Members and Suppliers
  • Identify and execute opportunities to increase rebates, earnings, and overall commercial performance
  • Identify bottom-performer improvement opportunities and action plans
  • Own growth initiatives across Members and Suppliers to maximize overall performance
  • Identify and drive new revenue and growth opportunities across the network

4. Analytics, Reporting & Governance

  • Improve performance across Members and Suppliers, monitoring, analyzing sales, earnings, participation, and growth trends.
  • Develop and leverage dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to support decision-making
  • Identify risks and opportunities and proactively drive corrective actions
  • Partner in forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking processes
  • Prepare materials for governance forums, board meetings, and supplier engagements
  • Ensure follow-up on key actions and accountability across stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and best practice implementation

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to build long-term trust with Members and Supplier Partners
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior executives and owner-led businesses
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actions
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority in a highly relational environment
  • Strong execution mindset with the ability to drive results in complex, cross-functional settings
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to build consensus, manage conflict, and align stakeholders
  • Experience working with owner-led businesses or mid-to-large distributors is highly desirable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5 – 8+ years of experience in business development, operations, or program management
  • Experience in electrical, industrial, or distribution sectors preferred
  • Experience working in B2B networks or with Members/Supplier Partners
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office

Additional Comments

  • Based in Mexico City with 40–60% travel across Mexico
  • Regular interaction with senior executives across Member and Supplier organizations
  • Critical role in driving growth, engagement, and operational excellence of AD México
