About the Role

As part of the ANZ Leadership Team, the Manager Medical Education will be responsible for delivering and advancing Arthrex Medical Education in Australia, ensuring the department continues to be recognised and respected among peers and the broader medical community.

Leading the Australian Medical Education team, this role is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of all medical education initiatives, including ArthroLab® Australia, healthcare professional education, and internal sales training programs.

The role will be responsible for all medical education activities, training, and curriculum development by developing educational and promotional materials, supporting the product development process, and developing surgeon consultants and customer excellence in the application of orthopaedic/arthroscopic surgical solutions in Australia. In collaboration with the Director MedEd APAC, the Medical Education Manager will ensure outstanding learning outcomes for healthcare professionals and Arthrex sales representatives.

This role will ideally suit candidates with demonstrated experience in clinical orthopaedic surgery, combined with a passion for advancing education and improving patient outcomes.

About You: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences required. Advanced degree preferred (e.g. medical doctor).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery and/or instruction (arthroscopy preferred).
  • Working understanding of medical education and training processes.
  • Management experience is required and leadership experience is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
