Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The role is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers and technical support specialists in the implementation of Mechanical systems works like HVAC systems in design, planning, project management, testing and commissioning during project while adhering to safety & quality standards within cost and time.

Design Management

  • Review design of Mechanical Systems Like HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems from conceptual stage to completion in coordination with user departments, consultants, and other stakeholders of the Project.
  • Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, complying stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements

Field Quality -Project

  • Prepare the Inspection & Test Plan for various equipment’s & items. Manage the approvals of Inspection Test Plan.
  • Review & approve the supplier QCP, welding book, heat treatment procedures, hydro test procedure, PMI procedure & NDE procedures and fan, pump performance & mechanical run test procedure.
  • Review pump performance, mechanical run test procedure.
  • Zero non-compliance to

specifications

Construction Management

  • Responsible for implementation of all Mechanical works in compliance to project specifications & statutory requirements.
  • Review the WPS/PQR/WPQ as per project specifications and procedures.
  • Design requirements of the Project under minimal guidance.
  • Completion within time & Quality meeting all project Statutory compliance, Project Objectives & Stakeholder satisfaction.

Handing over and Contract Closure

  • Handover completed project to user departments with required documentation.
  • Hand hold the operations team in initial period to stabilize the operation.
  • Post operation stabilization, assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all-project related contracts.
  • Compliance with the project objectives & stabilization of system for maximum output as per the service levels. Contracts closure rate

Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory compliances

  • Assist and work with the management for the effective deployment of the safety policy and achievement of the safety objectives and targets goals.
  • Zero Non-Compliances

Employee Engagement

  • Support team for successful implementation of related works.
  • Identify and assist in coaching the team members on their short comings in handling the related works successfully.
  • Employee engagement survey scores

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Mechanical engineering (Required)
  • Diploma in Mechanical engineering (Preferred)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 8 to 10 Years of relevant experience with 5+ years of total experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge on AutoCAD
  • Knowledge on MS Project.
  • Team handling capability min 3 person.
