Description & Requirements

If you're a Marketing Automation and Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist reading this advert, it’s because Australia Post is passionate about delivering the right message to the right people at the right time.

The role is ideal for someone who combines marketing strategy, leadership and hands-on martech expertise to create meaningful customer experiences and drive commercial outcomes.

Being in B2B Marketing at Australia Post means empowering our people to deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you're still one of the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you're helping grow our people, grow our business and make a lasting impact on the Australian community.

You'll find a culture of connection in our great people, along with the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.

About the opportunity

We have a 2-year contract opportunity covering a secondment within our high-performing Marketing & Sales Enablement team in Parcel, Post & eCommerce Services.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales Enablement, you'll lead a team of two Marketing Enablement Managers and be responsible for developing and delivering Australia Post's B2B marketing and sales enablement strategy. You'll shape how we engage business customers through scalable communications, automated customer journeys, nurture programs and sales enablement solutions that drive growth, improve customer experience and increase operational efficiency.

Working for a respected senior leader, you'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Technology and Data teams to deliver data-driven outcomes and continuously improve our B2B marketing capability. You'll bring strong martech expertise, particularly across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM and related platforms, together with the ability to work alongside technical specialists to turn strategy into execution.

You'll also

• Lead the development and execution of B2B marketing and sales enablement strategies that improve customer engagement, sales effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
• Design and optimise automated customer journeys, lifecycle programs, lead generation and nurture programs using data and customer insights.
• Partner with business, technology and vendor teams to define requirements, improve processes and deliver scalable martech and automation solutions.
• Own and continuously enhance key sales enablement and marketing technology platforms, including roadmap planning, optimisation and performance measurement.
• Lead a small team while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused and inclusive culture.

About you

You're a commercially minded marketing leader who enjoys bringing together strategy, technology and people to solve complex problems. You are curious, collaborative and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You build strong relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels and can translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes. Most importantly, you're motivated by delivering better experiences for customers and helping teams succeed together.

You'll also

• Experience leading teams and delivering B2B marketing, customer lifecycle, sales enablement or marketing automation programs within large and complex organisations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, Seismic or comparable martech platforms.
• Demonstrated success designing, implementing and optimising automated marketing, lead generation and customer journey programs.
• Strong stakeholder management, program delivery and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Experience working in agile environments using tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Miro and Confluence.

What else is in it for you?

• A 2 year opportunity to develop and join Australia Post's marketing team.
• Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including the opportunity to work from home two days per week
• Opportunities for growth and development through formal programs and mentorship
• Exclusive team member discounts and offers, evolving flexible work policies, generous leave options and access to health and wellbeing resources

All walks, one route

It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us.
