The Marketing Operations Manager oversees a team dedicated to the operational back-end support of our marketing processes and platforms. This role, reporting to the Head of Product Marketing Operations, is that of a “player/coach” for the team, overseeing day-to-day operations, team management, work quality and progress to deadline, while also executing on their own work that contributes to the operational efficiencies of marketing. . Specifically, the manager maintains and stewards: digital tools and website pages, oversees recurring updates to performance communications collateral and their distribution mechanisms, tracks and reports on campaign performance and key initiatives, leverages AI, data, and technology solutions to innovate, improve efficiency and reduce risk. The role will supervise the daily activities of team members, set priorities to ensure task completion, proactively create cross-training opportunities and evaluate and develop talen.t

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administers and maintains marketing technology platforms and automation systems.

  • Designs and documents Marketing processes and workflows with the goal of improving team efficiency, execution and business resiliency.

  • Activates underutilized features and applications within existing digital tools.

  • Tracks and interprets data creating actionable reporting/dashboards for initiatives within team’s area of focus.

  • Supervises the daily activities of team members, coordinates work activities with other supervisors, aligns Book of Work (BOW) to ensure task completion and effective capacity management during on and off update cycle periods.

  • Contributes to staffing decisions; execute semi-annual and annual performance evaluations.

  • Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

  • Monitors spend and manages vendor relationships as needed.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Expanded conceptual knowledge of Marketing Operations principles and strategies, with a focus on keeping abreast of asset management industry best practices and technology integration.

  • Experience with creating AI-enabled improvements, marketing software, automation tools, and design platforms.

  • Deep organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Understanding of financial terms and data. Familiarity with financial services regulatory requirements (U.S., EMEA, APAC) a plus.

  • Advanced verbal, written and presentation/communications skills Proactive approach, with a drive-to-win attitude and ability to excel in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box to find solutions to known problems.

  • Ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate across departments.

  • Creative and technical abilities across Microsoft office suite, including Copilot

  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

  • Experience collaborating across technology, compliance/legal, investment, sales, and product teams.

  • Strong ability to foster team camaraderie and creativity.

  • Understanding of the application of marketing software, automation tools and design platforms in enhancing impact, efficiency, and speed to market. Seismic proficiency a plus.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

For internal applications - 36 months experience at an M1/P2 level

5+ years of related experience required. Financial Services experience and Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is highly preferred.
