Job Posting: Manager, Marketing Operations

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

What You’ll Do:

The Manager, Content Supply Chain Optimization plays a central role in modernizing and accelerating the flow of marketing content across the organization. This strategic, hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the content supply chain—including intake, workflow, production, translation, and distribution—while optimizing systems, processes, and technology.

will lead a team of production and operations professionals, partnering closely with creative, compliance, translation, and external vendor teams to ensure efficient, high-quality, and timely delivery of content

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Lead and develop a high-performing Marketing Production/Operations team

  • Lead and coach marketing production and operations staff through weekly one-to-one sessions, group meetings, personalized development plans, and annual goal setting that aligns with wider business objectives.
  • Balance team capacity by understanding the status and prioritization of all projects.
  • Participate in project planning to forecast capacity requirements and plan accordingly.
  • Cultivate a business-focused, results-driven culture that rewards experimentation, continuous learning and successful delivery of projects.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with stakeholders across the business and cultivate a “problem-solver” culture to help Fidelity’s business lines reach their goals.
  • Manage performance cycles for team members to ensure accountability and coach each member of the team as needed through an annual development plan.

2. Manage marketing resources to optimize end-to-end content supply-chain delivery

  • For projects and processes, maintain documented frameworks that covers intake, scoping, prioritization, creation, English-to-French translation, quality assurance, compliance review, and content distribution.
  • Define and maintain Service Level Agreements for key processes and projects with stakeholders such as Design, Translation, Compliance and other teams. Standardize and streamline hand-offs, signoffs and maintain version control.
  • Ensure processes are in place to manage the content lifecycle, including processes for managing, removing and updating expiring content across all channels.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with other groups such as Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Compliance, Product and emerging business lines to align on priorities and ensure high velocity project delivery.
  • Provide constant communication to stakeholders keeping them up-to-date on delivery and prioritization.
  • Lead a comprehensive approach to planning, managing, and optimizing the use of resources within a marketing department to complete projects.

3. Own the ongoing planning process and roadmap related to workflow, automation and content supply chain

  • Conduct regular reviews to identify and fix bottlenecks by leaning into optimization across people, process and technology.
  • Participate in the annual business planning process through annual planning process and the quarterly forecasting process.
  • Act as business owner for workflow technology (Workfront), Digital Asset Management and document storage technologies (ex. Adobe Creative Cloud / Firefly / Wiredrive), content supply chain tools (AI content creation like LLMs; design tools like Firefly; online proofing and compliance tools).
  • Build and maintain relationships with the wider Marketing team, technology teams, emerging businesses, Fidelity International, FMR and other partners to continuously update the roadmap technology roadmap in pursuit of greater efficiency and project speed.
  • Oversee implementation and integration of content workflows.
  • Ensure seamless integration of various technologies to enable efficient workflow, scalability and content velocity.
  • Ensure up-to-date detailed technical documentation is available clearly outlining integration points, data flows, access matrix, access management processes and risks/controls.
  • Own and manage risk and controls assessment processes.

4. Vendor Management by developing vendor management strategy, regularly evaluate third-party vendors and/or agencies and holds them accountable to service delivery standards

  • Develops methodology for determining the need to outsource to third-party vendors/agencies
  • Owns the vendor selection process in partnership with other Directors/Stakeholders if necessary.
  • Develops KIPs/scorecard to assess vendor/agency performance
  • Monitors third-party vendors and/or agencies performance
  • Ensure that risk management procedures and well-functioning controls are in place to manage risks.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ marketing operations experience, preferably strong technology and data experience.
  • 3 years of experience leading and growing a highly performing marketing team.
  • Experience in leading and developing a high performing team.
  • Deep awareness of the latest trends in marketing and in the production of high-level content.
  • Strong experience in marketing technology strategy and implementation relates to content supply chain.
  • Experience in executing and optimizing content production planning processes.
  • Experience in Marketing workflow management and optimization, particularly through Adobe Workfront.
  • Experience working with creative and design teams and familiarity with content production processes.

For this role, your total rewards include:

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus A competitive annual range of $146,000 to $170,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
