As Marketing Manager Livmarli & Liver Portfolio, Italy you will report directly to the VP, General Manager Italy & South Europe and be responsible for developing strategy and tactics that will lead to a successful positioning and usage of Mirum current and future liver portfolio. You will be responsible for development and execution of core branded assets including the marketing campaigns for HCPs and Patients, Core Sales Aid, branded and unbranded websites and digital marketing tactics. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Medical Affairs and Access teams will be a critical responsibility in ensuring well-coordinated execution of the launch plan. Externally this leader will support our efforts to further develop Mirum’s position as a leader in rare disease by building strong relationships with the patient community and advocacy organizations, and Key Opinion Leaders.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive execution of marketing strategies, tactics, and activities for Mirum Liver Portfolio
  • Support brand planning, including situation analysis, competitive landscape, strategic priorities, and tactical launch plan.
  • Support brand positioning and message platform development as part of core launch-planning activities.
  • Work collaboratively with analytics team to gather key market insights from HCPs and patients.
  • Work with field facing teams including medical and sales to ensure critical customer insights are consistently and iteratively incorporated into marketing initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies; Manage expenditures within budget guidelines.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education /Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years Marketing Management experience in rare / liver diseases

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of health care and/or pharmaceutical industry in Italy
  • Product launch experience in rare diseases. Significant Liver disease experience is an important plus
  • Solid knowledge of marketing areas including product positioning, marketing plan development and execution, strategic communications, product launch, public and private payer reimbursement environment.
  • Successful track record of strategic and tactical marketing demonstrated by multiple balanced references.
  • Self-starter that can work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks and has initiative and excitement to take on unfamiliar tasks.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, (both written and oral).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
  • Strong financial business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Fosters productive, collaborative cross functional relationships.
  • Flexibility to adapt to an invigorating but often changing start-up environment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken). Spanish language will be a plus
  • Travel, domestic only, for around 50% of time, depending on business needs.

The base salary range for this position is EUR 130,000 to EUR 160,000. Starting compensation within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic work location. Compensation is provided in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees of companies in the Pharmaceutical chemicals sector (the "NCBA"), as applicable. The salary range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits unless otherwise stated.

Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the treatment of rare diseases affecting children and adults. Mirum has three approved medications: LIVMARLI® (maralixibat), CHOLBAM® (cholic acid) capsules, and CTEXLI™ (chenodiol) tablets.

LIVMARLI, an IBAT inhibitor, is approved for the treatment of two rare liver diseases affecting children and adults. It is approved for the treatment of cholestatic pruritus in patients with Alagille syndrome in the U.S. (three months and older), in Europe (two months and older), and in other regions globally. It is also approved in the U.S. in cholestatic pruritus in PFIC patients 12 months of age and older; in Europe, it is approved for patients with PFIC three months of age and older. Mirum is also initiating the Phase 3 EXPAND study, a label expansion opportunity for LIVMARLI in additional settings of cholestatic pruritus. CHOLBAM is FDA-approved for the treatment of bile acid synthesis disorders due to single enzyme deficiencies and adjunctive treatment of peroxisomal disorders in patients who show signs or symptoms of liver disease. CTEXLI is FDA-approved for the treatment of cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis (CTX) in adults.

Mirum's late-stage pipeline includes two investigational treatments for several rare diseases. Volixibat, an IBAT inhibitor, is being evaluated in two potentially registrational studies including the Phase 2 VISTAS study for primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and Phase 2b VANTAGE study for primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). Volixibat has been granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation for the treatment of cholestatic pruritus in patients with PBC. Mirum is also planning for a Phase 2 study evaluating MRM-3379, a PDE4D inhibitor for the treatment of Fragile X syndrome, a rare genetic neurocognitive disorder.
