This role acts as the social media expert to drive growth of HLB’s social media presence and overall engagement through effective content strategy and planning. The role taking and aligning briefs across business stakeholders and developing social media campaigns and/or content that deliver clear and consistent brand message while supporting stakeholders’ business objectives.

The candidate will also be responsible for analysis and reporting of the bank’s social presence using the available tools to ensure our approach is effective and that we are able to monitor conversations and craft necessary response strategies where needed.

Functional (Job Responsibilities)

  • Develop social media strategies to grow HLB social media presence, following, and engagement through a structured content framework.

  • Execute and optimise media campaigns based on captured data to drive increased brand reach and campaign objectives (including ad reach, exposure, click-thrus, views, engagement, leads); including any ad tech setup required for campaign attribution.

  • Implement appropriate tracking tools and measures to gather data across customer journey and touchpoints to evaluate campaign performance.

  • Support business units with social media insights and development of creative and content to support briefed business objectives.

  • Monitor brand and industry topics using social listening tools to deliver monthly and ad hoc social media reports to the management to ensure we are vigilant of conversations on the brand.

  • Continuously apply social media best practices and be on the lookout for trending topics that the bank can leverage on for relevant content creation to increase engagement.

  • Drive social media engagement and growth for the bank’s official social channels.

  • Develop comprehensive content plans and engagement programmes that holds an identity for the brand in the social space and aligns with the Brand Promise of “Built Around You”.

  • Manage social media agency for coordination of campaigns and content creation initiatives.

  • Work with social media agency to set up and lead monthly reporting to track social performance against targets.

  • Maintain and manage social media SLAs and SOPs to ensure compliance and accurate deliveries internally and with agency.

  • Manage social media listening with reporting and insights to the management on relevant conversations and trends.

Job Requirements:

Education/Qualification

  • Degree in Business, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.

Experience

  • Knowledge of a broad spectrum of media inventory and platforms to be able to create a robust media strategy

  • Proficient in digital media/marketing approaches to drive optimisation goals

  • Able to formulate campaigns that deliver communications via the most relevant and cost-efficient channels

  • Familiar with social best practices, content formats, and business tools

  • Familiar with adtech / martech and AI implementations in marketing communications and media.

  • Able to strategise social media campaigns that drives engagement for the brand.

Special Skills

  • Able to work with Google Ads Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, or equivalent digital marketing campaign dashboards.

  • Able to work with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent web analytics tools

  • Able to work with email delivery tools such as Mailchimp, Vertical Response, etc.
