Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Projects & Sustainenace: Project planning and Management, (using MS Project or similar tools). Engagement details for projects, milestones in coordination with project execution team and vendors, and maintaining project tracking status across multiple projects. Deployment of MES and digitisation projects in manufacturing leading the project from initial stages to Go Live and handover to sustenance.
  • Interface of sustenance functions and automation of the same, to enable anticipated support on devices, applications and overall make the existing systems automated and capable of remote support through Nerve Centre.
  • Budget management of project and digitisation development PoCs as applicable. Project reviews with stakeholders at plant level and central coordination for the same. PR to PO coordination with Asset Management. Close coordination with all plant heads and digital champions for Scoping of machines lines and for Project deployment.
    Stakeholder management of Close synchronisation with IT infra team on Server/Cloud and infrastructure requirements for projects involving compute, storage, bandwidth scaling etc. Regular interaction with plan teams, to analyses penetration of MES/Digital modules. Support to realize the KPIs of individual plants is a must. Deviation in realizing benefits to be tracked on plant related dashboards. Noting down positives of given dashboards, reports, and requirements to improve analysis are a key aspect of these interactions
  • • Sensorics: Digital, Analog
    • PLC, HMI & SCADA: Ladder programming, screen designing and SCADA connectivity
    • Communication protocols: Modbus, TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, direct to DB
    • ISA 95: Architecture and understanding
    • Computer applications: Architecture and understanding (IIS)
    • Data engineering: Understanding the volume and velocity of data, flow, and data types
    • Data Analytics: Basic concepts of learning models, application of statistical methods
    • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server database, Oracle 12c or above, PostgreSQL
    • Reporting Tools: SSRS, Power BI, QlikSense
    • Cloud: Azure, Amazon (AWS), Google (GCP)

Experience

5-10 years

Industry Preferred

Automotive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. /B.Tech.)
Branch: Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA & above
