Job Description

The Maintenance Manager ensures safe and high-quality maintenance execution by leading and developing high-performing teams to deliver world class service and support level for preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance along with supporting brewery wide initiatives. This role uses continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to consistently achieve production and maintenance targets.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure that there exists within the maintenance team an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.
• Deliver performance results in Maintenance Plan Attainment, PM Completion, Shutdown PM Completion, and Technician Utilization
• Deliver Line Efficiency through driving equipment uptime reliability, maintenance execution, and through RCAs
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance shifts to maintain a 24/7 operation
• Drive continuous improvement using data analytics, benchmarking, and RCA
• Oversee departmental budget performance
• Implement corrective actions when needed
• Execute and sustain maintenance capability program (BIC)

Own:

• Daily operation and performance and execution of maintenance
• Team development, coaching, and performance management of direct reports
• Departmental KPIs reporting, analysis, and action plan execution
• Execution of SOPs, PM Plans, Predictive Plans and adherence to product quality standards

Influence:

• Staffing plans and resource allocation working with Maintenance Manager and People Operations
• Capital project requirements and process improvement investments
• Continuous improvement roadmap for the broader brewery operations team

Veto: Halts production and can reject materials or products due to safety or quality

Critical Stakeholders and Relationships:

• Maintenance & Engineering Team
• Quality, Brewing, Packaging and Warehouse
• Supply chain, Finance, and People Operations
• External vendors and 3rd party providers

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

Bachelors Degree Required

• 4-6 Years in a manufacturing leadership role
• Showcase track record of project planning, driving change, process optimization, and innovation preferably in a brewery environment
• Experience in packaging, maintenance, engineering, or related fields

Skills Needed to be Successful:

• Technical knowledge of canning, bottling, brewery operations including high-speed packaging systems
• Communication and leadership with conflict resolution abilities
• Planning, project management, good financial acumen
