Our Client, a leading retail pharmacy and healthcare company in Pakistan, is seeking applications from experienced professionals for the following position. The organization operates an extensive network of pharmacies across multiple cities, offering pharmaceutical products, healthcare services, and wellness solutions while maintaining high standards of quality, accessibility, and customer care.

Job Scope

The Manager – Maintenance & Branch Expansion is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and governance of maintenance operations, retail expansion, and capital projects across organization's nationwide branch network. The role ensures optimal asset performance, seamless store operations, timely delivery of new branches, and infrastructure development aligned with the organization's growth strategy, operational standards, and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Expansion & Network Development

• Lead strategic expansion planning for new branch openings across Pakistan Identify potential locations through market research, site visits, and feasibility assessments
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, ROI evaluation, and capex planning for new stores
• Manage complete project lifecycle from site acquisition to store launch
• Coordinate with legal, finance, operations, and real estate teams for approvals and execution
• Ensure timely delivery of new branches within defined cost and quality parameters
• Ensure operational readiness of new branches including infrastructure, utilities, and handover readiness

Renovation, Fit-Out & Capital Projects

• Lead renovation, refurbishment, and upgrade projects across existing branch network
• Ensure all store designs and layouts align with Company brand standards
• Oversee architectural planning, space optimization, and retail design improvements
• Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality of construction/fit-out work
• Ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements
• Introduce modernization initiatives to improve store infrastructure and efficiency
• Conduct post-completion evaluations for continuous improvement

Maintenance Management

• Lead end-to-end maintenance operations for all branches nationwide including preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure uninterrupted operations by proactively identifying and resolving maintenance issues across stores
• Develop structured maintenance schedules for electrical, mechanical, civil, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Monitor response time and service quality of maintenance vendors across all locations
• Implement a centralized maintenance tracking system for real-time issue reporting and resolution
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure all branches remain fully operational and compliant
• Optimize maintenance cost while ensuring high service standards across the network

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or relevant project management certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in branch expansion, facilities management, maintenance, or construction projects, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in retail, pharmacy, FMCG, or multi-site operations is preferred.
