Maintenance Manager duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively

  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

  • Be involved with planning and implementing major rebuilds

  • Manage on-site contractors

  • Ensure that all health, safety and environmental policies are followed

  • Drives operational performance through initiative, coaching, training, delegation and accountability in addressing opportunities and problems.

  • Develop the annual maintenance budget and forecasts and assist with Capital Expenditure Budgeting proposals.
