The Ontario Cannabis Store provides safe, responsible access to recreational cannabis for adults 19 and older. We operate the sole legal online store for recreational cannabis in Ontario and are the provincial wholesaler of cannabis for private retail stores.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to join our team and play a key lead role in the Logistics operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable movement of products from suppliers to the distribution centre and customers. You’ll oversee the day to day execution of transportation and fulfillment activities across both wholesale and eCommerce channels, ensuring service, cost, and performance targets are met.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll support the development of scalable logistics operations aligned with approved strategies and service models.
About Your Day
• Oversee day to day 3PL fulfillment and transportation operations across wholesale and eCommerce channels.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to service levels, delivery performance, and cost to serve.
• Manage alternative and flow through fulfillment models to ensure accurate and timely product and information flow.
• Support financial controls, performance reviews, and issue resolution with logistics and transportation partners.
• Partner with 3PL providers to optimize routing and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier inbound capacity and quality performance, escalating risks as needed.
• Support operational readiness for new products, suppliers, and fulfillment initiatives.
• Oversee the Supply Chain Vendor Development Program, including performance reporting across transportation and fulfillment operations.
• Collaborate cross functionally (Sales, Customer Service, eCommerce, Merchandising, Inventory, Quality, Finance) to support end to end fulfillment performance.
• Work with 3PL partners to resolve operational issues and implement service improvements.
• Engage suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and improve supply chain performance.
• Support implementation of strategic initiatives to improve delivery experience, efficiency, and financial outcomes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and develop recommendations for leadership.
• Support change initiatives through process documentation, performance tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Lead and develop a high performing team, setting expectations, providing coaching, and enabling effective decision making within defined guidelines.
About You
• Post secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional supply chain certification (e.g., CSCP, RSCC, SCMP, CCLP, CPIM) is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related function.
• 2+ years of experience leading or supervising teams in an operational environment.
• Experience in wholesale, retail, or CPG supply chains is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make operational recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated business acumen.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Broad understanding of end to end supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau is preferred.

Compensation
The target hiring range for this position is $100,000- $120,000. This is a pay grade 7 role, with a salary range of $82,623.96- $123,507.59. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
