Our Legal Services team is currently looking for a driven professional with a strong grounding in the legal world who is energised by using technology to streamline and modernise how a large legal team operates. Joining as the Manager Legal Practice, Technology and Operations, this is a pivotal leadership role within Auckland Council’s Legal Services team, reporting directly to the General Counsel.
You will play a central role in shaping how Legal Services operates — driving efficiency, innovation and value for money across the function. You’ll lead the operational, financial and technology backbone of the department, enabling lawyers to focus on delivering high‑quality legal advice while ensuring the practice runs smoothly, strategically and sustainably.
This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on how an in‑house legal team supports a large, complex organisation.
