Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our in-house legal team in the role of Manager, Legal Counsel This role will be responsible for supporting the company’s contracting processes, including the review, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of commercial agreements.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Contracting & Commercial Support
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and technology-related contracts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives and legal risk tolerance.
Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and process improvements to streamline legal operations.
Provide training and guidance to business teams on contract policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Ohio or at least one other state, with an ability to become licensed in Ohio.
1-5 years of legal experience preferred.
Experience in contract negotiation and commercial transactions preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
