Job Description

  • Draft, review, vet, negotiate, and execute a wide range of legal agreements including Contracts, MoUs, SLAs, NDAs, Amendments, Renewals, Addendums, Notices, Undertakings, and Affidavits in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Provide legal advice and risk assessment on commercial, digital and regulatory matters, and stakeholder requirements to safeguard the company’s legal and business interests.

  • Review and verify legal documents related to business transactions, content and commercial acquisitions, and regulatory approvals.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external parties, vendors, content providers, content licensors, content licensees, government authorities, and external counsels to resolve contractual, legal, and commercial issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Maintain and manage physical and digital archiving systems for all legal agreements, correspondences, notices, and corporate legal documents ensuring proper documentation, confidentiality, and traceability.

  • Develop, maintain, and regularly update legal databases, trackers, and registries to monitor agreement execution status, legal risks, renewals, expiries, and compliance obligations.

  • Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, directives, licenses, and industry requirements to provide accurate legal opinions, recommendations, and compliance guidance to business teams.

  • Review and improve existing agreement templates, legal formats, memorandums, and standard documents to enhance legal protection, operational efficiency, and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

  • Support dispute resolution, risk mitigation, and legal issue management by identifying potential legal exposures and recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

  • Advice on matters related to digital business, mergers and acquisitions and strategic projects

  • Ensure timely execution of legal documentation and maintain high standards of governance, accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder service delivery aligned with organizational objectives.

Academic Qualification

  • LL.B (Hon’s) from reputed local or foreign University; preferably having LL.M, having been called to the Bar of England & Wales or having enrollment with Bangladesh Bar Council

Job Experience Required

  • Must have 3-5 years’ practical experience in reputed law firms or MNCs.

Required Capabilities

  • Basic knowledge on Contract Law, Company Law, Telecommunication Laws, Privacy Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, Labour Laws and Competition Laws etc.

  • Thorough understanding of contract draftingand end to end contract execution process

  • Basic understanding of the market and industry practice
